Mustafa Amir Murder Case

A new development has surfaced in the Mustafa Amir murder case, as allegations emerge against a police officer accused of assisting the prime suspect, Armaghan Qureshi.

Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Nadeem of the Gizri police was questioned regarding his potential involvement but was later released. Authorities stated that further investigations would be conducted if required.

According to the inquiry, ASI Nadeem had prior communication with Armaghan, which he justified as being part of investigations related to previous cases. However, officials suspect that he may have played a role in shielding Armaghan from legal consequences in an earlier incident.

Meanwhile, Armaghan’s father, Kamran Qureshi, has accused law enforcement of manipulating evidence and framing his son. He also challenged the legitimacy of the DNA report, alleging that the body recovered was not that of Mustafa Amir.

Mustafa Amir Murder:

Mustafa Amir’s parents have voiced their dissatisfaction with the police investigation, calling on the prime minister, chief justice, and army chief to intervene. They have demanded swift justice and warned of serious actions if the case is not handled fairly.

His mother made an emotional plea, stating, “If you cannot deliver justice, hand over the suspect to us.” She also criticized the direction of the investigation, adding, “Instead of punishing my son’s killer, investigators are shifting the focus towards drugs. The person who demanded ransom is still unidentified.”

Mustafa’s father also issued a stern warning, vowing to take extreme measures if justice is not served. “If my son’s killer is not punished, I will go on a hunger strike,” he declared.

In a separate development, residents of Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Karachi have raised concerns over rising lawlessness in the area following Mustafa Amir’s killing. In a letter addressed to the Director General (DG) Rangers, Inspector General (IG) Sindh, and Station Commander DHA Karachi, they have demanded urgent action against Kamran Asghar Qureshi, the father of the prime suspect.

Additionally, residents have urged authorities to enforce DHA regulations and verify the legal ownership of Bungalow No. 35, which Armaghan had been occupying.
