Why Son arrested:
A guy mercilessly murdered his father and got arrested, the imam of a mosque in Gadhoka, Karampur, in a heinous crime. According to reports, Maulvi Khan Bahadur was assassinated inside the mosque by his own son early in the morning.
According to police, the suspect’s sadness over remaining unmarried was the driving force for the crime.
They also stated that the suspect was the first to report his father’s murder.
Following the receipt of information, a police squad led by SubInspector Javed Joya arrived at the crime scene and gathered evidence.
Rescue 1122 transported the deceased’s body to the hospital for a post-mortem examination. Following the receipt of the postmortem report, authorities began investigating the case using current
investigative methods such as Call Detail Records (CDRs) and geo-fencing.
Police officials named the victim’s son as the primary suspect during the inquiry.
Furthermore, they determined that he had attended the mosque the morning of the murder. Dr. Usman Anwar, Inspector General of Punjab Police, and the District Police Officer of Bahawalnagar praised the investigation team’s work and emphasized the significance of properly utilizing available resources to address public concerns and eliminate crime.
